i know that any one of us has an idea about Marriage in Morocco
culture and anyone also knows that Marriage in Rif is not the same
"Sows" or "Atlas".. so you can particpate here by exchanig the ideas about this topic .

Marriage in morocco culture
Marriage is a religious duty and is consequently a moral safeguard as well as a social necessity. Islam does not equal celibacy with high "taqwa" / "Iman". I believe that marriage in morocco culture differs from area to another. So, I can ask; what are the traditions of marriage in morocco culture?

The first step of marriage

Islam has attached great importance to the question of marriage in its social system. In the Holy Quran and the sayings of the Holy Prophet we find that marriage has been greatly encouraged. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “No institution of Islam is liked by Allah more than that of marriage”.
Parents still have considerable influence over the choice of their children's spouse. Although in some less traditional families this practice is changing. Once person with the appropriate economic and family background has been agreed upon, the groom offers a bride-price to the family of the bride to-be-bride. In return, the bride's family negotiates a dowry with the groom's family, and assures them that her virginity is intact. Wellings take place during summer months, and usually last for two or three days, depending on the financial circumstances. At traditional weddings, the bride is carried to the groom on a table, ornately decorated with henna-stained hands and feet. Islamic law dictates that Muslim women must marry Muslim men; it is acceptable. However, for a Muslim man to take a non-Muslim woman as his wife.

The day of henna

In some parts in morocco, tradition requires that five days before the wedding, the bride his a ceremonial bath, then is painted with henna swirls on hands and feet, an adorned with makeup and jewels by other women. All what I come up to is that the marriage in morocco culture differs than other Arab countries and from area. For example, the tradition of marriage in morocco is the marriage in Egypt and also in Rif is not in Atlas.
